Session 1: Pre-Planning
Gather your materials and get ready to map out your path to success for your show! We’ll provide you with a list of information that you should put together and have handy while you get ready to plan your marketing.
Session 2: Goals
How do we determine success? That’s the $64,000 question. Discover different ways of setting goals so that you can go to your next trade show with clearly stated goals. Once the show is over, you’ll have a surefire way of de-briefing and assessing your successes- and items you might like to change in the future.
Session 3: Booth Plan
Starting from scratch with a booth? No problem. Taking elements of previous booths and making them work this year? No problem. On a shoestring budget? No problem. Understand what you need to consider when putting together your trade show booth. When you hit the convention floor pavement, we want you to be ready to show!
Session 4: Sponsorships
Sponsorships are great to gain brand awareness, but are you using them to their fullest potential? Are you taking advantage of everything included in your sponsorship package? Make sure that you are. And, learn some tips and tricks so that your sponsorship dollars are working for you.
Session 5: Advertising
You have a multitude of choices with your advertising surrounding the show, but only a certain amount of dollars in the budget allocated to advertising. Spend those monies wisely with targeting and timing.
Session 6: Media Relations
For many trade show vendors, a strategy for interacting with the media becomes an afterthought. Don’t let this be you. This is one of the most cost-effective tools in your toolbox. Get insights based on research with editors and reporters so that you’ll know the best way to strategize and approach the media.
Session 7: Events
There are lots of events during the show. How do you become known for one that simply rocks? We’ll share a process on deciding events, venue, and type of event.
Session 8: Social Media
It’s the newest thing everyone wants to include but is trying to figure out how: social media. If you aren’t careful, social media can take up a lot of your time— valuable time you could spend with the other components in your marketing communications plan. Gain some insights on maximizing your social media efforts.
